The Challenge

SEE Services delivers complex maintenance programmes and project work nationwide, supported by a large workforce and a trusted supplier network. As their operations continued to scale, the tools they had in place, such as spreadsheets and manual document handling, were no longer able to provide the level of real-time visibility and coordination their teams required. Ensuring workforce competence, supplier readiness, site activity visibility and consistent HSQE and RAMS control became increasingly time-intensive as the business grew.

A True Partnership

SEE is an active member of the Arez.io Fix-It Forum, where they can raise feature requests and workflow enhancements for rapid review by the product and engineering teams. Monthly check-ins ensure close alignment, help prioritise improvements and keep SEE informed about new features and roadmap developments. One example of this collaboration is the introduction of the option to upload additional RAMS forms and method statements at Step 3 of the RAMS workflow, a feature developed directly in response to SEE’s operational needs.

Another demonstration of the strength of this partnership is the dedicated Construction Phase Plan (CPP) board currently being built for SEE Services. This board supports a specialist workflow that sits outside the core compliance cycle and has been configured to match precisely how SEE’s teams deliver that workstream.

In addition, a new version of the Arez.io platform will launch to SEE Services in early 2026, delivering upgraded performance, an enhanced UI and several workflow improvements tailored to their evolving needs.

How SEE Services uses Arez.io

SEE Services now uses Arez.io to manage their QHSE processes, including: 

RAMS Management 

The entire RAMS workflow is managed end-to-end within Arez.io. When a job is created, the Project Manager is prompted to initiate the RAMS, with the option to draw from pre-configured templates tailored to the specific job type. The RAMS then progress through clearly defined stages, including HSEQ review, where the team can add further documentation such as method statements or supplementary RAMS forms. Every decision and approval is time-stamped and tracked, providing a complete and transparent audit trail. Once RAMS are approved, Arez.io automatically checks that all assigned workers and suppliers are fully compliant before any work begins. On completion, Project Managers are required to carry out a final verification process, capturing site audits, LOTO procedures, isolation permits, sign-in and sign-out records, relevant client or minor works certification, permit-to-work evidence and the final signed RAMS. All of this information is stored securely against the job record, ensuring full traceability and compliance assurance.

Workforce Compliance & Competency

Arez.io manages worker compliance from initial onboarding through to job attendance. Each worker completes a structured onboarding process that includes identity confirmation via AREZ-ID, using a live selfie match and driving licence verification. Once onboarded, the platform validates all required competencies, such as asbestos awareness and client-specific working requirements. SEE can approve or reject a worker’s readiness instantly, ensuring that only fully verified and authorised individuals are assigned to jobs.

Supplier Vetting & Ongoing Compliance

Suppliers are vetted and onboarded through a structured process that captures critical data such as insurance details, accreditations and competency evidence. Once onboarded, Arez.io continues to track their compliance in real time through automated document verification, giving SEE Services confidence that every service partner meets the required standards at all times.

Engineer Mobile App

Engineers and suppliers access the relevant information for each job directly through the Arez.io mobile app. RAMS, notes, forms and supporting site documentation are visible in one place, giving field teams everything they need to deliver work safely and compliantly.

Project Manager Compliance Tracker

Project Managers also benefit from a dedicated compliance tracker within the platform. It provides a real-time view of the compliance status of all work assigned to them over any defined period, helping ensure that every job progresses with full oversight and assurance.
